The settlement is believed to be the city of Tranupara, later called Staro Gradishte Konjuh, in Justiniana Prima archi episcopal region.
First findings date from the Neolithic period and were carved in the nearby rocks.
– St.Jovan Rotonda Orthodox Christian Church, Konjuh, Kratovo.
Early Christian church built in circular shape, from IV to VI century, as home of the bones of martyrs. Located in the settlement believed to be Tranupara, later called Staro Gradishte Konjuh, in Justiniana Prima archi episcopal region. One of the rare rotonda churches in eastern Europe.
12 different types of crosses were found inside, due to its location on an important road to Serdika, crossroad north-south and west-east and different influences. St.John Baptist Rotonda church took important place in baptising the Slavic tribes in IX and X century.
